Tampa, Florida -- At the Second Annual Dalí Look-Alike Contest on May 8 and May 9, 2009, participants will get another chance to show off their Dalí uniform by competing in video and live performance events. To create a signature Tampa Bay event with regional and local appeal, the Dalí Museum and the Ybor City Chamber have collaborated to celebrate the world’s most famous and controversial artist at a landmark destination: Ybor City.

St. Pete & Clerwater, Florida -- A tiny, black-and-white puppy sporting the distinctive brand of that other popular Florida destination caused quite a stir in St. Pete/Clearwater this week. Naturally marked with one of the most iconic symbols of all time---Mickey Mouse Ears---the nine-week-old lab orphan has become a mascot for pet-friendly tourism to the St. Pete/Clearwater area.
