FORT LAUDERDALE -- This holiday season, in celebration of being the backdrop to the much anticipated film Marley & Me, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau and local participating pet-friendly hotels have collaborated on a very special travel package, the "Every Dog Gets It's Day Vacay." Now there's no excuse why you can't bring your pooch on vacation.

LITTLE TORCH KEY, Florida Keys -- Five national touring bands are to gather in the Lower Florida Keys Sunday, Jan. 11, for afternoon and evening waterfront performances featuring a variety of blues, rock, jazz, soul and island music selections.

KEY WEST, Florida Keys -- Since John James Audubon's 1832 visit to Key West to sketch indigenous birds, the island has offered inspiration for creative spirits. The tradition of artistry dating back to Audubon continues Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 24 and 25, when approximately 100 national and regional crafters display their wares at the 24th annual Key West Craft Show.

KEY WEST, Florida Keys -- Several hundred runners are expected to race through Key West's historic Old Town and waterfront areas Sunday, Jan. 25, during the annual Key West Half Marathon. Set to begin at 7 a.m., the sporting challenge takes place on a flat, fast 13.1-mile half-marathon course in the scenic island city.
