Kissimmee, Florida -- The Kissimmee CVB is partnering with radio stations in markets throughout the United States to award two getaway vacations worth $4000 to lucky winners in celebration of Mother’s Day. Billed as the “Give Mom a Florida Kiss” promotion, the Mother’s Day weekend getaway for 2 includes roundtrip airfare and complimentary rental car, a three-night stay at Kissimmee’s Gaylord Palms Resort, and one-day admission to the Walt Disney World Resort. While staying at the Gaylord Palms, the winner will be treated to a Relache Spa treatment, Mother’s Day brunch for two, and dinner for two at the Old Hickory Restaurant.
In addition, in honor of Mother’s Day, the promotion is spiced with front row VIP concert seats and a backstage meet and greet with country singer Wynonna Judd who will perform at Kissimmee’s Theater at Silver Spurs Arena on May 9th. A limousine will carry the prize winner to enjoy the concert by the 5-time Grammy winner. The celebrated performer recently released her critically acclaimed seventh solo album, Sing: Chapter 1, which pays homage to different genres and songs.
Participating radio stations are: KKBQ (92.9) in Houston; WTSH (107.1 FM) in Atlanta; KLCI (106.1 FM) in Minneapolis; WRRK (BOB FM 96.9) in Pittsburgh; WHOK (95.5 FM) in Columbus, Ohio; WGH (97.3 FM) in Norfolk, Va.; WBRF (98.1 FM) in Greensboro, N.C.; WDXB (102.5 FM) in Birmingham, Ala.; WSPA (98.9 FM) in Greenville, S.C.; and WSJR (93.7 FM) in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
The promotion will begin in most markets on April 12, when winners will have to answer a Kissimmee trivia question on air to win a preliminary prize. A minimum of 20 such winners from each station will move on to the next round and the contest culminates with the selection of a grand prize winner April 26. In addition, listeners may register for a “second-chance” prize drawing by visiting www.GiveMomaFloridaKiss.com. The promotion’s winners must travel to Kissimmee during the period May 7-10.
